im an overthink

I know this is a little weird but i got fired yesterday from my job. My husband was very supportive and our child is well taken care of. My husband suggested i take a break and spend more child with our, I appreciate that. My issue is i told my friends and now I’m a little embarrassed about it… it’s my first time getting fired.. i don’t even know why i told them it’s none of their business but I guess i was just being an open friend and keeping them in the loop. My question is, is this something that should’ve been kept personal? Is this something they can use against me in the future? Is this something to even be embarrassed about?
