Break up?

I’ve asked my SO definitely over 10 times if he could let me know when he’s going out out of respect he does it the next night out after I ask him then doesn’t do it again, I mentioned it to him two days ago how I was sick of repeating myself and how it upsets me and not to be surprised if he gets a text about being over as I’m sick of it , he apologized then after I said it and said “ya I understand “ now yesterday he tells me he’s going out then tonight he jsut stops again, I text him I’m done, am I doing the right thing?? I jsut don’t know but I’m sick of it but he just won’t fix that one thing and if he does he does it once then after doesn’t again till I repeat myself again
