Weird sizzle sound in my ear?

I've had this weird little tapping or light sizzle sound in my left ear off and on all day. It's very faint. I don't feel any discomfort, mostly just the sound, but occasionally I'll feel the sizzle too. Almost like there's a little bit of pop rocks in my ear.

I've had my dog's hair stuck in my ear a few times, and it never sounded like this.

Is there anything I should try? Like maybe try to flush out my ear somehow? How would I do that safely? At what point should I talk to my Dr?
