Last one…not finding out?

Question

So this is my 4th pregnancy, I have 3 absolutely amazing girls at home but I’m praying for a boy this time around. This is definitely my last one so we said let’s not find out. I’m super scared that when I actually have the baby and it’s if it’s not a boy I’ll be disappointed and I don’t want to be sad in that what suppose to be super happy moment. Anyone been in that situation at all??? I know I’m blessed no matter what I have

This is my 3rd and last baby. I have 2 boys already and do not plan on finding out the sex of the baby this time. I haven’t been in that position yet but my thought process is how can I be upset or have much time to deal with gender disappointment when I have a newborn baby in my arms? I dealt with gender disappointment after finding out I was having a second son but that all went away as soon as I had him.

I haven't been in that situation but that's why personally I wouldn't do it lol if it weren't what I really was hoping for I know in the end it would be fine but I would want some time to sort through those feelings.

I’m in the same situation I have 3 beautiful girls and pregnant with #4 due 10/28. Since this pregnancy was a surprise we have decided to not find out the gender. My intuition is telling me it’s another girl, kinda helps me from being too disappointed. But if it is a boy will be surprise either way lol

Personally, i couldnt wait. I have 2 girls and a boy already, and i am so excited to find out what im having. For me it helps to prepare me. Prepare clothing, accessories (hair bows if a girl), blankets, bedding and mentally prepare for meeting my son or daughter. And so i just have to know. ASAP. Im getting NIPT done in 3 weeks when i get the NT scan.

I understand your feelings… I have two amazing girls and we are pregnant with our last and really hoping for a boy. Personally I felt like I can’t wait… my husband actually said he wouldn’t mind waiting but it would drive me crazy! I know that either way I am going to be happy but I personally just want to know.

I want this one to be a surprise too because it was our surprise lol. BUT in your case I would not make it a surprise. If you are worried with how you will cope I would find out so you can either be excited or have plenty of time to cope and not ruin your birthing experience. 
Also side note my husband does not want this babies gender be a surprise so we will probably be finding out even though I don’t want to.

I love not knowing, though I’ve had a boy and a girl…I think not finding out until birth lessens the gender disappointment because you’re so glad to be done with labor, then the hormone surge. It’s easy to love what you have when your high off of hormones. I never hoped for a girl, but I was and am so happy to have her.
