Induced with Pitocin and oxytocin comparison?

Has anyone been induced with both of them at different times?? Was there a difference in pain?? 
I was induced with my son and was given Pitocin…. Absolutely horrid stuff 
I’m getting induced again next week but this time with oxytocin… being natural and not synthetic does it mean that pain will be more like natural labour?

UPDATE: midwives told me today they’re the same thing oxytocin is what we call it here in Australia where as Americans call it Pitocin 😁

Pitocin and oxytocin are the same drug mama. Pitocin is the brand name while oxytocin is the generic name 😊

You can’t be induced with oxytocin. Oxytocin can only be produced by the body naturally. Doctors and nurses often use pitocin and oxytocin interchangeably but this is wrong and drives me mad! Pitocin is a synthetic lab made version of oxytocin. Oxytocin is a hormone produced by the body - the “love” hormone. 
Pitocin cannot cross the blood brain barrier. It causes contractions but doesn’t have any of the other impacts of oxytocin and sometimes can cause hyper contractions.

If you absolutely have to be induced asl about Cytotec. My experience was honestly better than going on my own. 10hrs from start to finish and 45mins of active labor total.

It's the same thing so no it won't be any different.
I had pitocin with my first and they broke my water and gave me an oral prostaglandin and it was a 100% different experience. I took all the meds and an epidural with my first and completely med free with my second. So I would ask about other options for sure.

I was induced with Cytotec and it was intense and awful compared with my previous labor which wasn’t induced

I recommend getting a pressure point massage or acupuncture instead of being induced by these medications. I had a friend get acupuncture to start her labor, she got the session in the morning, late afternoon she was in labor.

I was induced with Pitocin. I also got a mb epidural which only worked bilaterally for me (only one side). Yea the contractions were bad but I’m not sure they be great any other way either. You could decide not to get induced but you will have a much longer birth. It’s like they say pick your poison.
