Feeling Discouraged 😔

Hey y’all. So I cried all day yesterday and can’t help feeling so down. I am 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant today. This past Sunday I had some brown spotting that stopped and then had a little more on Wednesday. Thursday I went to my OB and she did a pelvic exam and said she didn’t see any blood and that my cervix was nice and closed. Drew a beta HcG and was almost 18,000.

Thursday night into Friday I was having constant lower abdominal and back pain. I got myself all worked up and thought I was starting an ectopic. So I went the ER Friday morning. The did an ultrasound and said everything looking perfectly normal, intrauterine pregnancy, saw gestation sac and fetal pole. Measuring 6w1d and fetal heart rate of 119.

I was so relieved and felt better.

Later I log into my patient portal to see my labs and my beta HcG from the ER was only 14,000. Now I’m so incredibly devastated and convinced I’m going to miscarry. (This is my 4th pregnancy total, 2 have ended in miscarriages)

I guess Im just looking for some words of encouragement. My heart is so heavy. I am really praying hard for a healthy baby and pregnancy 😭
