Anyone an ultra sound tech?

After getting out of an abusive relationship, and being left, basically, penniless. I’m considering going back to school to become an ultra sound tech. They offer a 2 year program near where I live. My cousin did it and now she makes $40 an hour. I’m a single mom and I just want to make an income where I can life comfortably. Has anyone done this and is it exceptionally difficult ?
