Sex after betrayal

I just recently found out my husband was having an emotional affair for about 3 months in 2021. I found out from finding texts a little over 2 weeks ago. We are trying to work things out currently. Well today he tried to initiate sex and I’m just not ready physically or mentally. When he initiated I calmly told him “I want him and am still attracted to him but I’m really hurt by what’s happened and I’m not ready yet” which is completely out of character for me. He seemed disappointed but didn’t push the subject. Now I feel bad for denying him. Was I too harsh?
