Caller we will call Joe.

Joe meets his college buddies for a reunion at a local bar. 40ish year old men.

At the bar, a woman comes in with her 7 year old and newborn she is bottle feeding. She is paying no attention to the 7 year old who is running around the establishment, causing chaos, almost spilling drinks, running into waitstaff…

Joe gets fed up and on a lap around stops the child and says I think you should go sit with your mom. Child does not listen, keeps running. Joe then says you need to stop right now or I’ll walk you to your mom. Mom stands up, furious. Makes a scene saying Joe had no right to discipline her children. Joe then says “well if you’d actually parent, I wouldn’t have had to get involved.”

Mom leaves in a huff and the establishment said Joe had to pay their tab since they walked out for causing a scene.

Thoughts? Who was wrong-mom/Joe/both?
