My partner and I have just recently had a conversation which ended in him saying that he would ‘value’ me more if I was a virgin when I met him,I have only ever been in two sexual relationships (him and my ex) and I just find it unfair and hurtful that he would even say this to me.He has had many other sexual partners before me (10+) and according to him that doesn’t matter but mine does?Am I overreacting for being hurt by his words or should I feel ‘less-valuable’ for a woman with a bodycount of 2?

Of course, he's wrong. If he doesn't value you as much because of that, go find someone who does. Believe me when I tell you there are plenty of men out there who will value you highly whether your body count is 2 or 20 or 200.

I wouldn't ever be comfortable in a relationship based on that. It would make me question how much he values me in every aspect of life and sees me as something he should be proud to be my partner. Your person will love you and won't see this as an issue you have value.
