uterus

does it really take the entire 6 weeks for your uterus to shrink back to size? I read by week 2 it should be back inside of your pelvis and my belly is still poking a lot and i’m almost 2 weeks pp.. this is my third child but I also have a hernia but this doesn’t feel like my hernia. in the hospital I asked the nurse was what I was feeling my uterus and she said yes and that same area is still poking out a lot. and it’s still early just wondered about it.
