Extremely heavy postpartum bleeding

I’m 4 weeks postpartum, I had a c section with my baby he was my first so I’m not sure if this bleeding is normal. This heavy bleeding started 4 days ago, but for 2 days before the heavy bleeding I wasn’t bleeding at all. It started at night, I had just went to the bathroom when I wiped there was no blood. All of a sudden a couple minutes later I was feeding my baby and I felt blood clots and blood coming out. I look at the bed and it’s a puddle of blood on the bed, I stand up to go clean myself and blood starts dripping down my legs. I filled a pad within less than an hr. For now 4 days I’ve been bleeding heavy, big clots and blood dripping onto the floor whenever I use the bathroom. Yesterday I got my hair done and was only at the salon for an hr I ended up leaking through my pad. I feel pretty normal so far, I’ve always been a heavy bleeder since a young girl could that maybe be why? I’m just not used to so much bleeding like this.
