I’m 7 weeks postpartum and my mother passed away two weeks ago. I’m having a hard time coping with her loss especially since we were best friends. She was so happy when she found out I was pregnant and made so many plans for the baby. She bought so many gifts and made her a quilt. My mom fell ill in February and it’s been hell since. I was 9 months pregnant and spent every day by her side from morning to night in the hospital. After my daughter was born I wasn’t able to go see her everyday and feel guilty about it. Has anyone dealt with a loss postpartum or during pregnancy? If so, how did you cope and if you don’t mind, what was your stories?
