Was this excessive

I’m having a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Real bleeding hasn’t started yet but my doc asked if I wanted any time off work I said I think so, so he gave me a week off. Todays the first day off and I feel soo guilty cause I feel totally fine like I could’ve been at work. I was just told that once it starts it’ll be severe bleeding and I work on my feet all day. Was one week off too much to take? I’ve never had a real miscarriage so I was scared.
