Has anyone ever regretted having children

This sounds like a horrible question and in some sense it is. Bottom line is if you’re voting that you regret it or that you think you may have been happier if you didn’t have kids does NOT mean you don’t love your kids. You can feel both ways.

But I want this to be 100% honest. And peoples reasonings can be so different. Whether you were/are a bad parent. Or maybe your kid turned out to be a terrible human. Or maybe you realized raising kids was not something you ever wanted or were ready for.

Or maybe you love people a parent!

Whatever the reason.

My reasoning for making this poll

I’ve always debated on having kids. The last few years I’ve not wanted to have them. Going through birth. Having a feeling I’d be taking on the mom and dad role while being married. The cost of it all. The way the world currently is. It all takes part in my decision. My bf says he doesn’t care if he does or doesn’t as he sees both sides. But I know he does want kids. And I’m still uncertain /leaning towards no. Although I think I’d regret not having kids later in life.
