My miscarriage was confirmed last week. Dr told me I would bleed probably heavier than a period. I never started to bleed just had spotting for a week, so I called my doctor today to see if he suggests misoprostol or D&c.  He said come in for an ultrasound first when he looked, he said I had shed all the lining, and my uterus was at the thickness of someone who’s just had a period. I’m sooo confused bleeding with my chemicals was much much heavier than this. Everyone I’ve heard of had heavy bleeding with any miscarriage. I was 8 weeks!!! (Baby stopped growing at 5). Where did all the blood go???

I did pass a few clots but no real bleeding at all.
