Discharge - Unsure

I noticed today that I had stretchy, semi-clear discharge. It is clear for the most part, but is mixed with whitish fluid. I had unprotected intercourse 2 days ago, but I doubt there is anything leftover from that. I'd like to preface by saying that my cycles are often irregular and vary between 35-40 days when they are irregular. I don't think I ovulate regularly, though my calendar says I am in the second day of my supposed "fertile" week. I have light back pains and lower stomach aches, but they are very light. Can discharge look like this even when ovulation is not occuring? I know for a fact I am not pregnant or angthing such as, but I'm very curious to know more about this.
