Non-white important people
I'm white and I would love to learn about more non-white people who you think are important. I feel like in school you're pushed to learn about almost only white people and I don't think that's right. I would love to become more educated about other peoples races as well. Some people who I'm going to be studying are:
Rosa Parks
Malcolm X
Martin Luther King
Bessie Coleman
Shirley Chrisholm
Fredrick Douglass
Harriet Tubman
Jesse Owens
George Washington Carver
Barack Obama
Marsha P. Johnson
Muhammad Ali
Maya Angelou
Katherine Johnson
Ruby Bridges
Emmett Till
Sacagawea
