So, we are on our waiting period after the first try with IUS? We were fertilized shall we say on May 12 and are now on our two weeks waiting period before taking our pregnancy test.

We are not first time parents and have a twelve year old beautiful son. Tragically he passed away on November 1st, 2021. My husband found him in our bedroom and I never got to leave work. As soon as I found out by phone I collapsed and was admitted into the psychiatric ward.

We’re still dealing with this loss and Mother’s Day for me is painful amongst other days. To top it off as we were finding a bit of stability our house burned down on March 7, 2023. I firmly believe that was god’s way of forcing me to let go of that house in order to live on.

Now we are here! I’m nervous and scared. My husband will have his first biological child with this pregnancy and I am beyond excited and blessed that he chose me given all of the things that have happened. For me this will be my second child but I won’t lie saying that it feels like the very first time!
