Genetics?? Help please

I really would like to know how this happens… I am very faithful to my boyfriend of three years we had a baby three months ago.. He’s a little doubtful because we’re both have a darker complexion and dark eyes. No one in the family has lighter skin or eyes. How did our baby have the lighter skin complexion and colored eyes?

Being your baby is only 3 months, his skin and eyes still have alot of time to change! But its all in gentics. If your man is so convinced that your son isn’t his, take a DNA test.

I swear if I didn’t birth my daughter myself I would question if she was mine. Both my husband and I are dark straight hair and brown eyes. My daughter is 19 months with blue eyes and very curly dirty blonde hair! Genetics are a crazy thing! If he doesn’t believe you just take a paternity test.

Me and my husband both have dark hair. My husband is Native American. I have 3 kids and the third one came out with blonde hair and tan as can be. I have no clue how genes work but people always joke that she was my mailman baby. 🤷‍♀️

I was assuming genes as well but I wouldn’t have the slightest idea where or what family member. He absolutely loves him to death. He said he’d never go as far as a DNA test because he trusts me.
