My wife and I have decent sex once or twice a week. She takes good care of me but once she orgasms she is DONE. Her vagina contracts forces me out and she is exhausted. She needs like a full 5-8 hours to recover before she can cum again. 
For this reason she'll usually have me cum first. Or a lot of times i make her cum and then she helps me finish by hand or toy. (and vice versa) 
Is this common? Any idea if there is a way to get her beyond one and done? She isnt lazy or selfish she cant help that when she finally does orgasm its so intense. She feels bad because it usualy means we are done for the night (as far as intercourse goes). 
How to overcome this? Is there hope beyond 'one and done'?

I’m the same as your wife. It gets way too sensitive after. It is normal and common for a lot of men and women. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. She maybe thinks it’s a bad thing if you’re trying so hard to want her to go again.

Have you attempted to try and go beyond the one? Some women can have multiple orgasms and some women cannot. If an orgasm is very intense then a person might not want to be touched. I can have multiple orgasms but once I reach my limit, I am done. Bodies are built differently and some people cannot overcome certain things.
