Antibiotics while pregnant

We had a student at school that had strep throat and ended up infecting 3 employees. I am now having some issues with my throat so i called my doctor and they did a telemedicine visit. She said since I’ve been around it and now have a sore throat that she was going to just go ahead and treat it. I was put on keflex which she said is the safest during pregnancy since the other options I’m allergic to. Has anyone taken antibiotics while pregnant? I just don’t like taking things other than what’s needed while I’m pregnant.
