Ultimatum: Would you or Would you NOT?

I just finished Ultimatum: Queer Love today, reality TV is a guilty pleasure. It definitely sparked a question between myself and my own partner. Would you go on a show like this with your partner, to test the relationship, to get to that engagement?

Premise of the show for those who don’t watch. Couples enter this experience where one has issued an ultimatum of marriage. The couples split for several weeks and have a trial marriage with another person on the show. Then get back together and have the trial marriage with their original partner. At the end, those who were issued the ultimatum either propose or not. You either leave the show engaged, single or with someone else.

My partner and I both said absolutely not. Me, no way. Anything new is exciting and “greener”. There is no history or “real” life stuff. I also don’t want to hurt my own feelings by watching my partner date someone else. I would rather do couples therapy or break up.
