yeast infection concern

so i had sex with my boyfriend on friday and we did it like 3 times in a row and used a condom each time. i felt fine after and pretty normal. around saturday night or sunday i started to get superrrr itchy and my discharge is like a bit white but seems pretty normal. it’s definitely painful when i itch it but i try to avoid itching because i’m most positive it’s a yeast infection. i’ve never had one before lol, should i go to my gyno to get checked out or urgent care? actually is monostat more effective or vagasil??
