Brown Spotting After Sex but Before Ovulation

So this cycle my period was late as i lost my virginity in the previous cycle. i took a test and it was negative and i did end up getting my period eventually that lasted for 5 days. Then, now I’m on cd14 and today after sex, I had brown discharge with mucus (sorry for tmi). What does this mean? One can’t be pregnant after getting their period right? Plus I’ve always had protected sex and he hasn’t even cum once in the condom as well. Please help me out! I’m due to ovulate in 4 days.
