How should I go about this?

June 30th I started moving, my mom rented a uhaul and my sister, her bf, and my brother started putting all the stuff in. I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I have a 3 year old so a few months ago I did all my baby shopping for my new baby and summer clothes for my daughter at Marshall’s. I haven’t really unpacked since I’ve been in pain with constant Braxton hicks, but I noticed the Marshall bags were missing.. I thought they must’ve been underneath all the boxes so I just brushed it off. Two days ago, my mom calls and tells me about my brothers car being broken into, but he only told her his stuff was stolen. About 3 hours ago, he calls and tells me all their stuff was in his car and was stolen. Then I connected dots, why would he walk past the uhaul which was right in my driveway and walk all the way to the side street and put all my kids brand new clothes in his car.. NOTHING else of ours just the clothes. He has been living with me since he got out of prison in February, but hasn’t been to the new house AT ALL. Also he called me on the 4th of July and the 5th to check up on me, but didn’t let me know he had my kids clothes and would drop them off.. plus once the car was broken into waited a few days to let me know it was all stolen. I’m freaking upset, I feel he stole my kids stuff and returned it or sold it because he just went to Gurnee mills outlet on Sunday. He also tells me, a “crackhead” stole the stuff, how did the person break into the car with out bussing windows and WALK with 4 big back worth of clothes and “his shoes and clothes”. After crying my eyes out I’m ready to snap and demand he pays me back or buys them everything over again. I get induced at the end of July and my newborn now has NOTHING and my 3 year old has no summer clothes and she just hit a growth spurt. I’m also wondering if I’m overreacting and thinking any tips on how I should go about it or should I confront him?
