Will gd affect my vba2c?

Question

Just wondered if anyone knew whether it would be a harder fight to have a vaginal birth after my 2 c sections now I've been diagnosed with gestational diabetes ? 
1st section was elective due to breech baby and 2nd was emergency after baby got distressed during my induction. I'm 12+5 and already been diagnosed with gd and I'm worried the consultant will be reluctant to let me try vaginally now I have this additional issue

They're going to recommend what they feel is safest for you ultimately, doesn't mean that you can't go in with a plan for a vbac and that it won't possibly change as the pregnancy goes further along because things arise, just because you have gd doesn't mean you have to have a c section. I would have the conversation with your ob and if they're not on board maybe seek a second opinion. I've had 2 c sections also one emergency and one scheduled due to the time in between pregnancies but after having the emergency c section after laboring all day and knowing how rough my recovery was after that I don't know if I have it in me to risk that personally this time around, I'm only 8 weeks and have my first appt next week so we'll cross that bridge when we get to that conversation but I think you should just be open with your healthcare team about what you want and ask them what would prevent that from happening.

Hey i had a emergency section the first time after not progressing in labour i had spoke to midwife about a c section this time around and she mentioned that if i opt for a section for my 2nd then i wont be able to have a vaginal birth if i was ever to get pregnant again it wouldalways have to be section im in the uk so not sure if that is just there rules or not good luck and safe birth in what ever way u deliver xo
