Methotrexate and periods?

Hi all!

I’m wondering, for anyone who’s ever taken methotrexate orally and previously had a steady/consistent cycle, did you find your cycle was irregular while on that medication?

I have RA, I just restarted the drug in May, and I just had a 68 day cycle (last period was in May). I’m usually very regular and have a period every 4 weeks like clockwork.

I know the med can cause birth defects, I just didn’t think about it messing with my monthly cycle too.
