Walking?

My son just turned 1 on the 17th and doesn't want to walk. If we make him stand and let go of him he will walk and cry at the same time 😂 he knows how to do it but rather crawl or be picked up. Any tips??

They will go at their own pace. No need to try and make it happen

It's normal for baby not to walk right at 12 mo. Let him go at his own pace. If he knows how, he'll start sooner or later

Crawling is a really good exercise for them and it'd be better if you didn't force him to walk as it could damage their little body. If he's 18 months and still doesn't walk, then contact your doctor

Crawling is very good for their brain development. My second child didn’t walk until 14 months. Your baby has plenty of time! Not considered behind

That's normal. He's not behind in any way. If he's not walking by 18 months then talk to your doctor.
