Looking for tips- My first time traveling with an infant via airplane

Hey everyone, as the title reads, I will be traveling via plane to the Florida Keys with my 1 year old in the next couple months. As a first time mom, I’m looking for tips to make the plane ride as well as vacation as simple as possible. The plane ride will be about 5 hours total with a 1.5 hour layover in between flight changes. She will be riding the plane on my lap, rather than in her own seat. We will also be Ubering or getting a shuttle to and from the airport, so I don’t know if we need to bring her car seat with us also? Any tips for going to the beach with a young one, too? TIA 🩷
