“ I’ll leave if he shaves his beard”

I mean do women really feel this way?.. like my mind can’t even comprehend how I see so many females saying this.

My husband trimmed his beard too short on accident and it left a giant patch on the side, he has never shaved it since he was a teenager. Well in that moment he felt he had to cause it looked ridiculous and silly with the big patch. He’s always said he never will shave it it’s a huge insecurity for him without facial hair. Just low self esteem, I’ve never seen him without so I supported him through it when he shaved it off. He’s insanely like insecure like even broke down crying at work. He’s a very handsome man, I legit understand insecurities but it makes me so sad he feels that way about himself. He powered through his shift yesterday and the next morning he was giving report to dayshift nurse, she goes “ did you shave your beard” ( OBVIOUSLY ) anyway he said “ yeah I did” she goes “ don’t you feel naked now” he said “ yeah I do.. “ as he finished his report he goes to walk away and this nurse had the AUDACITY to say to another nurse “ If my boyfriend ever shaved his beard I’ll leave him so fast”

Which hurt my husbands feelings, understandable. It’s rude as hell! Keep in mind this nurse that did all this is pregnant. So it’s just insane crazy to me that girls really feel some way of leaving someone if they shaved their facial hair.

That’s not love if all someone cares about is someone’s physical appearance. Is this really how a lot of people think? I literally feel mind blown .
