Pregnant with twins, one in each uterus 😅
So I have a didelphic uterus which means I have two separate uteruses with two cervixes and I have always only carried my children in my right uterus. I have a 4 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old. Well yesterday was my first OBGYN appointment since finding out we were pregnant with baby number 4 and they instinctively know to check my right uterus first which showed a yolk sac, which was concerning because I should have been between 7-8 weeks. So she continued to routinely check around and all of the sudden we see a little sac with fetal pole and heartbeat. She looks at me but won’t tell me what I am seeing so I assume either the initial yolk sac was actually farther along than we thought or it was twins in the right uterus, but then she says “and this is your left uterus”😳 although extremely rare, I managed to get pregnant in both uteruses with different gestational age babies. They have me coming back in 2 weeks to do a repeat ultrasound and see it right baby progresses, but they didn’t have much information to give me on this since it is so rare. If anyone has any experience with something similar, please let me know your outcome!
