lines are fading. What is going on?

Ok so I was really excited last week and now I’ve noticed the lines are fading. What is going on? Please tell me this has happened to you and everything was ok

This happened to me with my pregnancy I’m 34 weeks now but I did a test and the next one wasn’t darker and they kept fading and I even had a negative clear blue after a positive one. I didn’t even test early! I had bloods done and luckily it was positive. I’m not sure what caused it neither is my midwife/dr.  I would ask for a blood test hope everything is okay for you.

This happened to me at about 6 weeks and I freaked thinking I was miscarrying but it turned out to be the hook effect which is when the hcg starts to level out and your tests get lighter. You can check if it’s the hook effect by using a fresh test and dipping it in half urine half water and see if it’s darker than your full urine one. If it’s darker, it’s the hook effect. If not, it could be a chemical.

Hmmm I would call the doctor and ask for some bloodwork! 
Could be a chemical but could be the hook effect, I suppose. I heard if it’s the hook effect diluting your urine a little helps make the lines darker

The right two are early result, are the left two also? I would ask for bloodwork to be done at the Dr. For me personally when I was having a chemical the line didn't start fading until I started bleeding.

It’s never happened to me but there could be reasons for the different colors of lines such as testing at different times during the day when the urine is more diluted than others, ect. I would ask the OB to do betas just to confirm it’s truly the only way to be sure everything is good.

The higher your HcG gets you will start to get negatives. That’s why drs tell you to stop testing after your first positive test.
