Ovulation Pains

Hi ladies! Just curious- of those of you that feel ovulation pain, do you believe you feel the pain during actual ovulation or is it a pain that happens prior? The reason I’m asking is because I am using an app that’s tracking my basal body temperature and I am getting a positive ovulation test, followed by ovulation pain and I believe I am ovulating in that moment, but my bbt app is confirming my ovulation a day or two later. Also my period seems to come 14 days after my ovulation pain, not the bbt chart’s confirmation. But I’ve read that bbt is most accurate so I’m like 😵‍💫 Thanks for your help!
