So confused and frustrated

My period is due today and I got a negative pregnancy test. Tuesday and Wednesday I had my typical period cramps and I was so sure that my period was coming. But they just completely stopped. My cervix is high and soft and I have a lot of milky white discharge when typically my cervix would be low and hard and I’d be spotting by now.

If by some miracle those cramps earlier were implantation, wouldn’t I have gotten a positive by now?

I seriously just want my period to start so I stop speculating and just move on to next month.
