Cancer and fertility

Hi all,

My fiancé was recently diagnosed with stage 2 nodular predominant Hodgkin lymphoma located in his groin. Thankfully he wont need chemo and only 20 rounds of radiation. The radiologist of course has to state theres no guarantee it will effect his sperm. I am 8 months pp, getting married next october and we both would like another one. We were hoping to try after our wedding but given theres no guarantee, we dont want to chance it now and decided to try before his treatments begin next week. Has anyone been in similar situations?
