I'm not sure this is the right group, but I have no idea where else to ask.

I found out I was pregnant on the 29/08/23. I got the faintest of positives. Period wasn't due until the 1st.

Anyway on the 07/09/23 I started bleeding. Very bad cramping. But the blood that has been coming out since then, was extremely dark brown, thick, with clots in it. With the odd bit of red blood in between.

I assumed I miscarried. But the pains been getting worse, my symptoms seem to be heightening and I did two tests this evening expecting it to be even fainter than the last one I took days ago. It's not. It's a very dark line. And the CB digital I took is dating things exactly where I should be(2-3 on test but I'm about 5 weeks pregnant so that seems to match up)

Why would my HCG levels still be rising if I miscarried days ago?(I assume it was Thursday evening/Friday as massive clots came out of me)

I'm worried about the colour of the blood as I've seen "old" blood before and it didn't look that kind of brown. And I'm worried why my symptoms and pains seem to be getting worse and why my HCG levels are rising and not dropping
