great pregnancy but baby was “difficult”?

Just curious, I work at a daycare and I’ve noticed a pattern. Has anyone had a great pregnancy but then baby turns out a bit difficult and fussy all the time?

I’ve noticed a lot of the parents I’ve worked with had a great pregnancy and great labor but baby turned out to be either very colic, unhappy all the time or not so great with feeding, sleeping or eating. Just want to see if it’s universal or there’s something in the water where I live 😂

Must be your area. I had a very easy pregnancy and labor, no complications. My son has always been extremely chill and easy to please.

My pregnancies have always been easy, births uncomplicated. My hardest pregnancy was probably my first, only because I had so many food aversions the whole pregnancy. She was, ahem is, still our most difficult child, lol.

My previous pregnancy and labour was very easy, and my son was a great baby. He slept through the night at like 2 months and hardly cried. This pregnancy has been really rough though, so we'll have to see.

I had a great pregnancy (minus being induced at 37w due to mild preeclampsia) and a fast labor 12hr 21min start of induction and pushed him out in 4 pushes. He’s the happiest easiest baby ever!
