How to tell someone they gave you an STI?

Hi,

I had a recent hookup with a guy that I know from hs… we are grown now in our 20s..

We had sex, and on the first night the condom broke. I then took a plan b, and then we continued to hook up for a total of three times.. each time he wore a condom besides when the condom broke.

I had a recent drs Apt to ensure that I did not contract anything since the condom did break, however, it came back positive for an sti.

I am kind of bummed bc I feel that we did all the interventions so that this would not happen…

I am kind of scared to inform him that I contracted an sti from him as he is seen as this handsome confident guy to the community…

Although this happened, after we are both clean, I do not mind still having protected sex as long as there is proof.

How do I go about telling him?
