Bleeding with twins

So I was 13 weeks 5 days and started light, bright red bleeding early Sunday AM. Stopped pretty quickly changing to brown within an hour. I called OB on call and went to the ER where they checked everything and said all OK. I followed up with my OB today. Still not more bleeding but very light brown spotting only in the AM. He recommended bed rest for the week and said I could possibly reveled for 7-21 days. My question is anyone else have this and come off “bed rest” at 7 days? I go back for a scheduled visit next Tuesday. I’m a very active person so I know this is not going to be easy. I’ve also read on Mayo and Brigham and Young that full bed rest is not usually recommended as it does not prevent miscarriage or preterm labor.
