Which is a priority

Im 27 and am thinking of moving in with my bf soon. It would be my first time living on my own without my parents. Ik my parents don’t want me to. First they said I need a full time career, which I have now. Now they’re saying I should get a new car first before anything. My car is 2013, I probably should and I want to get a new one but I just feel like my parents are using this as a way to prevent me from moving out. If it’s not this, it’s gonna be another excuse. What do y’all think?
