Should I reach out ?

I just recently cut of my on and off again boyfriend of 5 years because I found out that he was lying almost about his whole life and he is not stable and so I don’t want him to be apart of my world anymore. I had a somewhat good relationship with his mother and I haven’t spoken to her in a few days. Once I cut him off do you think I should cut off ties with his mother too or should I call her and let her know I’m no longer dealing with her son but she can call me every now and then.

Yea cut them all off you don’t need to speak to his mother regardless of the relationship you had with her. She doesn’t need to know what happening with the two of you

It rly depends. I had an ex who’s mom was just “that kind of person” and able to keep things cordial and professional with exes. This was years ago but she was the type of person to help someone out who needed it. When my oldest was younger I didn’t have the money to go to the store and get all these things and she went ahead and had taken me to the store and gotten her a few things. She was a wonderful lady. Unfortunately it’s just not one of those things where you tend to keep up on the person, unless you’re both consciously putting forth an effort into a relationship (friendship).

I was just in this situation and I cut his mom off as well and I loved her sooooo much. I just felt it was necessary because I didn’t want to deal with him at all so I cut everything and everybody that was attached to him

i don’t see why u need to speak to his mom, if she asks he can’t tell her.
