Is peer pressure from your friends okay?

I am 16 and still haven’t had my first anything. While all my friends have had all their firsts so it makes me feel behind. I have been in 2 very very serious talking stages but none of them felt right. My friends tell me all the time that I have to find someone to do things with but I want my first time to be with someone I trust fully. But with my friends telling me this it is making me want to jus jump into it with someone. I don’t know what to really do.

You want your first time to be special. Don’t let you friends ruin that for you. If you just do things with someone you don’t have a really strong emotional connection with… you may regret it and wish u waited for someone special to enter your life. Obviously it is all up to you but don’t let you friends decide for you.

Try and communicate with your friends on how you feel whenever they bring that up. If they don't understand, they aren't your friends. whenever you're ready is when you're ready. You still have lots of college years and many opportunities to meet new people. Don't stress this out love!

Do whatever you feel is right!! Please don’t listen to ur friends or feel rushed, I know that I was in a very serious talking stage too, and I still didn’t kiss him (I swerved him infact and felt very bad) but ended up having my first kiss drunk at a party because it was just in the moment and I don’t regret it one bit. Bottom line is, don’t force it or try to make it perfect and don’t let anyone pressure you, just let it happen when you’re ready and you’ll feel better about it because it happened when you were ready. Also you’re only 16 I know people move fast at this age but don’t feel pressured to, you have a long time!!
