I found out my dad is a psychopath

My dad recently told me that he has antisocial personality disorder. It shocked me because he was never a bad dad or husband as far as I'm aware of. He told me about it because I want kids and he wanted me to know all the families health history. Mental and physical. I asked how did he find out and he told me he was in therapy and realized he didn't think like everyone. He didn't feel empathy like everyone. He didn't really understand empathy or form bonds with people. Very few people he bonded with. My mom being one. He got diagnosed in his late 20's. I asked did he feel he loved me then and he said yes. I feel like this shouldn't change our relationship. I have a decent normal childhood. Him and my mom are still married. But it's weird knowing my dad is a psychopath. Maybe I will feel better if I do more research on this disorder. I don't want to see my father in a different light.
