Hopefully this is the time

Havent missed my period yet. hubs and i have been trying for 6yrs. We had a miscarriage back around memorial weekend which had us pretty crushed all summer. I had a feeling this afternoon to take a test only to find 2 pink lines and a positive clearblue test. We're praying for no trouble this time around. How long does one wait before making those first dr appointments. We have agreed to hold off telling family for a while due to how our previous miscarriage went ideally we hadnt planned to tell them but with taking me to the er it had to be shared and they were as crushed as we were.
