Concerned for ectopic? 4 weeks pregnant

BN9488

Hi all,

My story feels like it gets longer by the day. I have been ttc since the summer, miscarried mid-august. Have been tracking ovulation the past few months and usually it’s pretty on target for me to get pregnant when I do. I ovulated on 10/21 per the LH strips

11/1 I was concerned I was retaining something from the MC as I “thought” I was not pregnant , ultrasound was ordered

11/2 I had a positive FRER, then had blood HCG level checked. It was 9

11/3 ultrasound done, got my results and there is a 1.3cm “right adnexal mass.” This was not on the US in august so that’s new. U/S also said “ ovaries normal, corpus luteum on right ovary.” Corpus luteum indicated my egg release was on the right ovary.

I was on the phone with OB yesterday and today, both on-call doctors agreed “we cannot rule out ectopic, but also could be normal pregnancy or chemical.” And basically they needed to continue follow my hcg.

11/4 HCG drawn today, it did increase appropriately to 27 (still seems so low I believe I am 4 weeks today) but doctor said we need to continue to trend HCG levels

I’ve had very very mild cramping on the right side of my abdomen, no bleeding, maybe a tiny amount of brown spotting. Im super scared this is an ectopic, the fact that this could be a possibility never crossed my mind. Just wondering if anyone has had similar ultrasound results and been fine. Im so scared.
