Hi all,

So my brother found out he had shingles but didn’t tell anyone until he had already had it a few days. Problem is I was exposed a week ago. Two days ago I started to feel sick, bad appetite, upset stomach and sore throat. Now I’m developing a rash on my behind and I’m very worried it’s chicken pox. I’ve never had it and I’m due for my next booster. My doctor said there is a chance the virus could pass the placenta and cause a miscarriage, but because I’m still early he thinks it a small chance but told me to come In next week to check on it. Has anyone had chicken pox in the first trimester and baby was fine? I’m very worried, I know the chance is low but it still makes me nervous.
