Has anyone ever experienced this before?

I obviously know that the most definitive solution is to take a test in a few days but wanted to see if anyone has experienced anything similar. I ovulated 8 days ago. Today, I had the smallest amount of pink spotting. Light enough that if I hadn’t of been looking at the paper, I wouldn’t have seen it. It was present for maybe two wipes and then stopped. I did have some cramping yesterday. Could this have been implantation? Has anyone experienced anything similar and ended up being pregnant?
Update: I’m pregnant! 4 days after posting this, I got my BFP!

This is a very common situation and is widely discussed on here. The internet (including this app/forum) hypes up “implantation bleeding”. The fact of the matter is that scientific studies have not found a correlation between vaginal bleeding and implantation. 
Spotting can happen for so many different reasons whether it be hormonal, relate to the Cervix, a cyst, infection, irritation of abrasion of the vaginal wall, etc. Any of which can happen in pregnant and non-pregnant cycles. If you’ll choice search a few key words: spotting 8DPO, for example, you’ll see how common it is!  I would just monitor it and log it into Glow, and take a test when/if you miss your period.
