Another chemical?

Question

I had a chemical last cycle but my tests never got very dark. Today is my expected AF date, I’m 14 DPO and until now I feel like my tests have been progressing. This morning I feel like it’s slightly lighter. Please be honest and tell me if you think this could be another chemical?

Unfortunately, there’s no way to know for sure until more time passes, but a lighter test isn’t necessarily bad news! 
Here’s a picture of the progression of tests I took back in June. Top one was 10 DPO, second one was 11, and the bottom one was 12. I was absolutely devastated when I saw that lighter line and thought for sure it was a chemical and wasn’t going to stick. But the next morning, I took another test and it had gotten a little bit darker again, and I’m currently 25 weeks with that pregnancy. 
These tests are qualitative, not quantitative. So they only technically measure if you’ve got more than a certain threshold amount of hcg. They don’t technically measure *how much* hcg you have. Some people get beautiful line progressions, some people don’t, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not still a viable pregnancy!
