Teething or Ear Infection ???

My 10 month old has been teething very bad.. I was cleaning his ears and I noticed this little red bump. I know he occasionally tugs at his ears or just scratches at it when he’s really sleepy.. but idk if this little bump means anything. Only other thing I’ve noticed is his separation anxiety when he’s with daddy. He fusses and when he’s with me he’s fine. Lastly he has been spitting up.. nothing crazy, he eats normally as well and plays just fine.

(Ps his ear is a bit red because I just cleaned it)
